Toured South Africa with Cliff Richard.

Played in Las Vegas, America for International artists including Tom Jones, Joe Cocker,

Coxy also ran The Roxy, the great Rock and Roll pub in Melbourne. The catchcry “Coxy from the Roxy” in his raspy, Aussie voice on radio ads became legendary.

Started on 3DB on the Smithy and Cox Show weekdays from 6pm until 9pm.

When 3DB was sold, Coxy and Gavin Wood launched 3TT doing the Gavin and Coxy Breakfast Show including when 3TT became TTFM.

3MP Juke Box Saturday nights with Coxy from 6pm until midnight followed for 10 years.

Coxy can still be heard on radio doing ads, as a guest or giving interviews about his current projects. His amiable personality together with the gravelly voice and sense of humour are always entertaining.

Coxy’s ability and passion is to make a product stand out from the rest through his distinctive personality. His voiceovers are second to none.

Starting in 1976 with Copperart, BBQs Galore, Southern Motors, Woolworths Liquor and High and Mighty Men’s Clothing, to more recently, Spirit of Tasmania, Let’s Beat Bowel Cancer, CPAP Victoria, Ferntree Gully Hyundai, Real Estate and Developers, Government announcements and advertising.

As an MC Coxy could be described as a jack of all trades.

Anything from formal functions, such as Royal Children’s Hospital Chairman’s Dinner, Variety Financial Ball to Insurance and Bank conferences to informal events, such as the Alexandra Truck Ute and Rod Show, Sandringham Food and Wine Festival, Weddings, 40th, 50th and 60th Birthday parties.

Coxy’s demographic is 5 –> 85 – so all age groups know and relate to him. Surprise personal appearances work extremely well as everyone loves to meet Coxy.

Coxy’s life in the entertainment industry has been long and varied. As a raconteur he is one of the best. His talks cover TV, radio, music, advertising, travel and life in general. He is a genial speaker who works well with mixed audiences, but can be “one of the boys”.
